It’s getting ever so closer to Christmas, and we don’t know about your Instagram feeds but already ours is starting to fill up with people putting their Christmas decorations up. We are fully embracing an early start to Christmas 2020 and make no judgements on anyone doing the same, after all, we haven’t had much to cheer about this year. Personally, we are both not quite ready to put the Christmas tree up just yet. We have however started to think about dotting around some Christmas room decorations to try and begin the Christmas festivities at home.
Winter fairy lights and led lights are a great place to start to make a home look cosy for Christmas, and nothing is more Christmassy than stars. It’s weird, throughout the year we’re not the hugest fans of stars, but at Christmas time we become star OBSESSED! We had a little look for what’s out there in terms of light up stars, and have chosen the top 5 LED stars that caught our eye to illuminate a room for Christmas 2020.

This large led star light was a standout for us when we had our first look at the John Lewis 2020 Christmas collection back in September. I mean it’s NEON PINK. Ok so it’s a bit of an unusual Christmas light, but as you can see by how JL have styled this, we think this neon star light is the perfect addition to a colourful bright Christmas theme.

This light up wire star from habitat is the perfect fireplace Christmas star for styling your fireplace at Christmas. These star lights are battery operated and there is also a matching star light on a stand for a window or side table.
3. Cox & Cox Light Up Star Garland
This light up garland has delicate little twinkly stars hanging from each strand and is the ideal set of Star Christmas lights for windows. They are mains operated, however they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Have to admit, we were pretty starstruck (see what we did there) with that image of the twinkly star christmas lights draped over a fireplace. Absolutely breathtaking. This Christmas star light string is 250cm in length, mains powered, and suitable for indoor and outdoor use, all you need to do is decide where to hang it.
5. Next Home 3d LED Star
This 3d light up star from Next home is as pretty off as it is on. It’s made of black metal and is battery operated, so you can place it either indoor or outdoors . It also folds flat, therefore, making it easier to store and bring out safely again for next year.
